Well, I traded with a local gunshop for this one, gave my old Benchmade 975 and $375 for this, which put me about $525 in it; and it led me to the Spartan Blade website :) All I can say is this blade is designed as a combat fighter. The handle melts into your hands and is a natural extension of your arm. The grip is excellent even when wet, and grips actually even better wet. The grip is the perfect size and feel. The Spartan Harsey LE 1is truly a beautiful knife. the coyote color blade is the right length to penetrate deep enough to do some serious damage, and the upper false edge if sharpened would deadly on a reverse cut. The price may be up there, but the quality is excellent. If I had to go into harms way, and needed a fighter to do the dirty work, I would not hesitate to strap this blade on my side..
