Very fine craftsmanship and quality. Extremely sharp, quick opening, lightweight, and comfortable to carry. I carry this everyday and I couldn't be happier. Customer service was quick to respond and excellent.

Great Pocket Knife
I'm very happy with my new Pallas Black Out, Button Lock. It's solid craftsmanship, high quality materials, and very light so it feels like an extension of my arm. I'm also going to pickup a Fixed Blade to go with my hiking gear. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Quality USA made blade
Supreme quality blade made with excellent craftsmanship. The flip opening action is as smooth as glass. I love the button release to unlock the blade. I'm very impressed with this folder. I would buy another Spartan Blade product without hesitation.

Smooth precision.
This folder is clearly at the top of its competitors. I own 3 Spartan blades and am convince that the builds are superior in quality. The materials are robust yet sexy. The mechanism on the folder is smooth and easy to flip open effortlessly. All their blades come sharp out of the box. Be careful. I would love to one day own one of every knife they make. Clearly worth the price.

Pallas Black Out
Received mine today. I was a bit disappointed. It is not very sharp. Expected sharper. Using the flipper tab only extends the blade about half way to lockout. It is a bit stiff. Hopefully it will loosen up with time. I have big ol' paws, so it fits my hand well. This is my first Spartan Blade. Will be getting a couple of fixed blades in the future. Fantastic Knife
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I received my knife. I was very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. I thought I had sharp knives in my collection, but this thing is SHARP! Don't let the price deter you. If you're thinking about getting one of these, do yourself a favor and do it. You won't regret it.

I have said this before about Spartan blades and I'll say it again. Mark and Curtis are artists. You don't find very many good ones, but these two men are among the finest. Having owned several Spartan knives over the past four years, I have come to appreciate the outstanding workmanship that goes into their line. The Pallas is no exception. You will never find a finer blade. In fact you won't find anything as good anywhere. Spoil yourself. Buy one. You get what you pay for. These guys are the best.
Pallas “Black Out” Button Lock / Thumb Stud / Flipper
In the ancient Greek world of the Spartans, Pallas (/ˈpæl əs/) was the Titan god of war. When you look at this knife, you can see why it bears the same name. The Spartan Blades Pallas Flipper Folding Knife features a formidable CPM S45VN steel blade, which is housed in an aerospace aluminum frame using a set of alpha bearings.
With our handcrafted Pallas Folding Knife, there’s no need to worry about accessing the blade quickly and easily in a pinch. Thanks to Curtis Iovito’s custom design, the Pallas’ blade can be opened with a quick flick of the flipper tab or thumb stud.
On top of being a fast opening folding knife, the Pallas Button Lock / Thumb Stud / Flipper can be carried securely tip-up in your pocket thanks to our signature titanium arrow clip. This knife will last for years, too: every piece of hardware (including the spacers, screws, button, and thumb studs) is constructed from 100% stainless steel. Note: this knife is not an automatic opener.
Our “Black Out” version of the Pallas features a black tungsten blade with DLC (Diamond-Like Coating), a stonewashed frame and clip, and a black mil spec anodized frame.
