Awesome quality leather sheath for my Difensa. Fit is snug, no wiggle no noise. Chattanooga Leather Works is top quality and smartly designed to allow multiple attachment options beyond just the leather loops. If they offer a leather sheath option for the Clandestina, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
Well made sheath, scuffs the blade coating a little but well made.
The kydex sheath that came with the Difensa is great and I’ll use it’s steel trap like retention whenever I’m taking my knife on water adventures but I can’t imagine owning the Difensa with out this leather sheath from Chattanooga Leather Works. There are a couple of minor negatives. The first being that when you draw or replace your knife, with one hand, you will end up cutting into the retaining strap. I don’t think this a big issue as the strap’s girth should keep it from ever getting cut all the way through. The other small issue is, despite it saying the hole pattern allows for the use of a Tek Lok, I really don’t see how they intended that to be true. The best config I could manage was one where my Tek Lok was supported by just two holes on one side making it very unbalanced. But in every other way it’s perfect. The quality and aesthetics are impeccable. It is a perfect marriage between knife and sheath. The Difensa’s curved plunge line is exactly matched and cradled by that of the sheath. You’ll find that the handle rides higher up than you may expect but it feels good on the hip and none of these little things would stop me from rating this product 5 stars. A must have partner for the Difensa.
