    Not quite what I expected

    This is my 1st Spartan knife, with a name like spartan I expected a much heftier and heavier knife. The Regal is a great looking knife, but I don't think it is made for doing heavy work. The size as described is a bit of a stretch but that's OK. I was just disappointed at the lack of heftiness. the cutout for the thumb at the thumb stud is a bit small and I have a hard time getting my thump into position to deploy the blade. In my opinion this a collector's knife and not for everyday hard use. I'm only keeping it because I let the 3 workday limit expire. Didn't realize there were so many stipulations in returning, must initiate return within 3 workdays of receiving, I pay return postage and 10% restocking fee. Oh well live and learn.

    Fantastic workmanship. Small enough for a woman to feel comfortable with and perfect for a man to carry with business attire. Mine will be a display piece.

    I'm very happy with the regal. It has some good heft to it, the design is excellent, I couldn't be happier. It actually came earlier than I anticipated. Overall very happy.
