The Viking Trail Walker – A Blade of Adventure and Discovery
Imagine holding The Viking Trail Walker in your hand—a special edition knife that transcends craftsmanship to become a powerful symbol of your personal journey and the adventures that await. The distinctive Viking bind runes motif was developed by former Green Beret and CIA Contractor Craig Forster as a reflection of his passion for world travel and exploration. Known for his daring spirit and global adventures—including WWII Special Operations reenactments in Norway—Craig embodies the resilience, curiosity, and courage this knife represents.
More than a cutting tool, the Viking Trail Walker is a story etched in steel—a tale of endurance, transformation, and the call of the unknown. It stands as a reminder that every step taken in pursuit of adventure shapes not only our path, but our spirit.

Let the Viking Trail Walker be more than a knife—let it be a companion on your journey. Carry this symbol of strength, heritage, and adventure, and allow it to inspire each new step on your path. Designed for the explorer, collector, and dreamer alike, this blade captures the romance of discovery and the enduring spirit of the traveler.
For those in a rush: Holds an edge, strong, LIGHTWEIGHT, smooth Meat and potatoes: Like you (if you're reading this), I'm a knife nerd of sorts. I've bought knives of various types, styles, and prices for many years. I searched for a perfect EDC (grotesquely overused acronym) for a few years. I even owned the obligatory Osborne from the bug brand every other yahoo has ran. It was light, but too thin and I have higher demands from a knife ( as well as other reasons, but we'll keep it professional here). This is my first frame lock knife. It's my first titanium knife. It's my first magnacut knife (outside the blade on a multitool). I had reservations about a frame lock. Don't. This knife locks up with tolerances a machinist would admire. There is ZERO play. The titanium is insanely lightweight. You won't notice it's in your pocket (even in those shorts that are for "house only" because they are too thin for public and you don't workout like you thought you would; won't budge those). The magnacut: I don't buy into hype. But you should. Being a knife nerd means you have a sharpening system that is probably overkill; but you justify those credit card statements by saying things like "It's my passion." Guilty here too. You can sharpen this to perfection, to your preferred angle, and you will not notice material loss. I have ran it through my "evil edge" (we aren't here to promote other brands) for 20+ hours now and it isn't noticeable without a micrometer. It's mirrored edge and "grab individual ridges of your fingerprint sharp." This knife checks all the boxes. This knife is so good I gave away all of my other folders; search is over, mission complete (I really did). I do use this knife, take it everywhere, and I'm confident it will hold up perfectly. I'm not a "sit on the couch guy" and this isn't a "sit on the shelf knife." No, you won't lose it. When she comments about the price; tell her it's "probably the last folder you'll buy because it's exactly what you've been looking for. (yeah, we all know that here)" If she still scoffs; go total up all her "wall hangings and live laugh love items" in the house and explain that your passion is a useful tool. You'll be able to flip it open and closed all night long on the couch to avoid that argument. All jokes aside; it really is the perfect folder whether you get after life outdoors or you want to collect it on a shelf. For me; it's perfect.
Beautiful clean knife with a compelling story. Very nice and sharp blade. The beauty is in the clean simplicity of this well made Harsey folder...
After seeing and reviewing the Viking Trail Walker folder the knife resonated deeply in my soul. The runes depict my many hikes/adventures. This SHF will be my daily partner from this day forward. Thank you, Spartan Blades for this beautiful knife. Lonnie
