Engineered for speed, retention, and lethal efficiency, the Spartan CQB Tool is a purpose-built ring dagger designed for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and transition work. Compact and slim, it stows easily behind front pouches or magazines on MOLLE/PALS platforms, or on the belt/IWB for rapid access. The included Kydex sheath is contoured to the ring form for lightning-fast draw and re-stow in high-stress environments.
Developed in collaboration with Greg Thompson, founder of H2H/Team ROC, Curtis Iovito, Mark Carey, and a former Special Forces unit at USAJFKSWCS, the CQB Tool is shaped by battlefield experience. This tool is designed as a “transition tool”—a slim, fast-deploying implement intended to break grips, gain control, and quickly return to the primary weapon system. Built from proven materials and treated for battlefield durability, it blends functional design with tactical practicality into a mission-ready package.

I came across spartan blades a few times looking for a good knife to pair for my EDC kit. Skip forward some time when I finally ordered it, and I do not regret a thing. It weighs just over that of a pen when unsheathed. The loop allows quick removal and easy access to my handgun if I ever needed to get someone off of me to use it. I have my knife now strapped into my Tier 1 Concealed holster which allows me to get right to it if I ever needed to. Very comfortable, and a very nice blade. It’s not meant for utility purposes but if you’re just trying to pop some zip ties or something like it the knife can still be used for that. It just doesn’t cut well. If you’re looking for a knife specifically for self defense on top of a weapon system, I think this one is by far the best.
The fit and finish on this blade is superb. High quality steel. Feels great in the hand. Blade fits snug in sheath and sheath allows for a variety of mounting positions. Hard to tell if it is perfectly symmetrical but looks close enough. Going to buy a second one.
Another fantasticly 100% American made product from Spartan Blades! This knife is sure to last for many years to come. Look forward to gettting more knives from these guys.

Excellent quality product. As with my other Spartan products I am very pleased.
I love this blade. It's the perfect size and shape for carry in the waistband. Holster retention is excellent. I'm using some pull the dot soft loops to secure it and I'm confident that it will hold up for years to come. Well worth the money spent.

THE CQB BLADE ALLOWS ME TO IMMEDIATELY ACCESS THE BLADE FROM A LOWER BACK DRAW. IT IS VERY FAST AND IT WILL KEEP MY HAND FROM SLIDING DOWN THE BLADE WHEN PROPERLY DOWNWARD THRUST
Great get off me blade. Love the ring for retention. Great steel. Sharp and pointy! Have carried as a boot knife, in the waistband, even at the rear of the neck / collar. Good quality sheath.
