This is a bit pricey, but I thought it would be a better fit for this blade. Brand new, it is very snug and will require break-in. I hope the knife finish can hold up to the abrasion of the leather. It seems fairly well made, however, there are sewing machine lines in the smooth leather, and that is disturbing. For $90, I would think quality control would have caught this issue.
This is the nicest leather sheath I ever owned. Well worth the money. Feels better than the kydex. Get one!!!
I tried running the kydex, but it caused too much discomfort. I bought this and it’s perfect. Retention, style, clip are grade A.
This is one very well made sheath
A well-made, robust leather sheath. It is snug at first but can easily be stretched to loosen it up a bit. Oil the knife and wrap it in saran wrap. Soak the sheath in water and dry off the excess. Put the plastic wrapped knife in the sheath and leave it for a day or so. Remove the knife and let the sheath air out completely. The sheath will have stretched out and fit the blade perfectly allowing it to be inserted and removed much easier without affecting retention.
