This is my 2nd Clandestina and this time I picked the black-coated blade w/ camo linen micarta handle scales and black Kydex sheath to make it look as covert as I could. As the knife speaks for itself, it sure screams militaty as well as clandestine, and this is definitely not an outdoor tool but the blade designed to excel in CQB sinario. Jake at the Spartan workshop in NC sure has golden hands, and he had my knife customized to my taste. For now, it will be a drawer queen but I'm sure she will serve me well as an excellent home defense weapon. It's the blade friendly to you, yet nasty to your foe.
This is my second Spartan Blades knife with Difensa being the first one and I'm very pleased as well as impressed with both of them. Here in Japan we're not permitted to possess daggers and Clandestina is the closest knife to dagger in terms of the blade shape. Flat ground blade makes it an ideal survival knife but double handguard and triangular pommel also remind the user that it was originally designed and intended as a fighting knife. I picked the one with FDE color blade and camo micarta handle scales and black kydex sheath. I also put the Crusader Cross bead on OD green paracord lanyard to make it my Krav Maga knife. A swift, sharp and deadly yet stunningly beautiful knife and no wonder this is the award-winning blade of the year 2024.
Great company with a seriously refined product and services. that knife quickly became strapped on my go bag then use like a surgical tool many times… just incredible fit in hand!
Took this knife on an elk hunt in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. Guide used it to field dress my elk killed on the third day. He was amazed that he could field dress the entire elk and the knife remained sharp. He used the knife hard doing the elk so we could get out before the grizzly bears became a problem. Knife held up beautifully. At the end of the hunt I gave the guide the knife and ordered myself a new one. Absolutely fantastic knife.
I’m scared to buy online! I looked at the knife 500 times and almost pulled the trigger. Getting it home, putting it in my hand I was absolutely satisfied with an incredible purchase! The negative reviews of this product are from $25 pocket knife people… it’s exactly what you want. Just incredible!!!
I love the Spartan Blade knives. I have the Horkos, which is by far my number one ranked knife so far. The Clandestina has to be my least favorite one so far. The only reason for this is that it is a smaller knife and does not fit in my hand as well as other Spartan Blades. Honestly, it just doesn't fit in my hand well, but it is still a top notch blade. I wear a large glove size of the rack. This one is honestly better fitted for a smaller hand. But I have to still give it a 5 star review because of the premium blade steel, the thickness of the blade, the grip, quality materials, the sheath, etc. This is an excellent top notch blade that I would recommend to anyone.

Badass..... I've been a fan of W. Harseys' work for years. The knife was exactly as described, plus multiple choices for blade,handle & sheath, who could ask for more ? It's also a welcome addition for my "Definsa," my S.H. dagger, & my Les George V14 !
