The Clandestina – Tactical Fixed Blade Knife by Spartan Blades and William W. Harsey Jr.
The Clandestina, a meticulously engineered tactical knife and fixed blade masterpiece, is born from the collaborative prowess of Spartan Blades and William W. Harsey Jr., driven by their rich history in the Special Operations community. This survival knife, aptly named as a feminine adaptation of "Clandestine," encapsulates an essence of mystery, secrecy, and the covert nature of the missions that inspired its creation.
The Clandestina stands as a testament to the legacy of William W. Harsey Jr., whose illustrious career in tactical cutlery is deeply intertwined with influential figures and elite military units. Harsey's collaborations with Colonel Rex Applegate, Al Mar, and the Special Operations Community have shaped the knife’s practical and effective design as both a tactical and survival tool.

Took this knife on an elk hunt in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. Guide used it to field dress my elk killed on the third day. He was amazed that he could field dress the entire elk and the knife remained sharp. He used the knife hard doing the elk so we could get out before the grizzly bears became a problem. Knife held up beautifully. At the end of the hunt I gave the guide the knife and ordered myself a new one. Absolutely fantastic knife.
I’m scared to buy online! I looked at the knife 500 times and almost pulled the trigger. Getting it home, putting it in my hand I was absolutely satisfied with an incredible purchase! The negative reviews of this product are from $25 pocket knife people… it’s exactly what you want. Just incredible!!!
I love the Spartan Blade knives. I have the Horkos, which is by far my number one ranked knife so far. The Clandestina has to be my least favorite one so far. The only reason for this is that it is a smaller knife and does not fit in my hand as well as other Spartan Blades. Honestly, it just doesn't fit in my hand well, but it is still a top notch blade. I wear a large glove size of the rack. This one is honestly better fitted for a smaller hand. But I have to still give it a 5 star review because of the premium blade steel, the thickness of the blade, the grip, quality materials, the sheath, etc. This is an excellent top notch blade that I would recommend to anyone.
Well Done! Great balance, steel sharpened out of box.
I was kind of disappointed in how small the knife is
Badass..... I've been a fan of W. Harseys' work for years. The knife was exactly as described, plus multiple choices for blade, handle & sheath, who could ask for more ? It's also a welcome addition for my "Definsa," my S.H. dagger, & my Les George V14 !
beautiful knife it fits my wife's hand perfectly,i already have my spartan knife
I tried to delete my previous comment but there was no option for that, so l want to say here in a second comment that l rescind my first post and say that the sheath snaps just needed some working in and now functions just fine. So the nylon sheath is great, the knife is amazing, but l still feel the tip seems a bit too thin, hopefully magnacut is that strong and l won't snap the tip someday. Very expensive knife but l'm happy with my purchase. The blade, grip, and size is like no other knife l own and l've bought a lot of knives. Great knife!
An excellent piece of work, well balances and durable. Very nice! Will be with me for a long period of time. Until I buy another from Pineland Cutlery
