The Spartan Phrike Self Defense/Utility Knife draws its inspiration from ancient Greek mythology, with Phrike being the goddess associated with horror and fear. In the Greek language, "phrike" translates to "tremor" or "shivering." Despite its compact size, the Spartan Phrike custom self-defense knife is a formidable and finely crafted tool designed for both self-defense and utility use.
The Phrike features a small and lightweight blade, measuring 4.25 inches, specifically designed for easy carry and versatile applications such as self-defense and bushcraft. The knife's minimal inset handle adds to its comfort, slim profile, and high portability.
As an excellent utility knife, the Phrike is suitable for daily tasks and proves handy in various situations. Its outdoor capabilities make it a reliable companion for hunting and backpacking trips. Beyond its utility, the Phrike stands out as a handcrafted self-defense knife, ideal for emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
The knife comes with a Kydex sheath that matches the blade color and is equipped with an IWB (Inside the Waistband) loop.

Best Neck Knife
I don't use my blades for more than one purpose nd this blade while diminutive in size is a highly effective defense tool. The ergonomics are can't be outdone. And the price isn't bad at all. If you want a quick and effective fighting neck knife get the Enyo.

The Best EDC
This is the best EDC blade I have, and I have 6 Spartan blades. It has a very thin profile but the handle is extremely grippy and the Magnacut blade cannot be surpassed. Or equally for that matter. You can't beat this knife for daily defensive blade.

The Perfect Wet Knife
I've now purchased this knife three times. Throughout the years, it has saved my life more than once, and has never failed me. The only reason I've purchased this knife again, is because the other ones were given away to good friends. This is definitely a one-job knife, and I would advise against using it for general purpose or bushcraft.

I Forgot
I Forgot how cool this blade really is. I've had several Phrikes over the years and you couldn't ask for a finer EDC blade. Sharp, agile and handles beautifully in the hand. Well worth the money.

Great CC Blade
You won't find a better EDC knife. It's flat but the handles are very grippy so it stays right in the hand. Extremely sharp and agile. The belt loop it comes with is ok but not great. Overall an excellent investment.

Phrike
Super lightweight and looks very nice, perfect size for edc and multitasking. It is a little tight when pulling from the kydex sheath but I’m sure that’ll loosen over time

Phrike
This knife Is perfect for someone who wants a concealable fixed blade for EDC. Not only can it be used for personal defense but it also doubles as an extremely lightweight and versatile utility knife. Came sharp enough to shave with out of the box. The fit and finish of the knife are top notch. Kydex sheath is rock solid and holds the knife very securely. Sheath comes with a pull the dot belt loop that can be removed and supplemented with whatever mounting accessories you want. Overall a great knife that is perfect for everyday EDC and concealed carry for defensive purposes

Partially Unsharpened
The knife itself is a solid little thing, the sheathe's a bit tight but that'll work in over time, the big reason I'm not giving this a higher rating is because out of the box, a good 1/3rd of the blade from the tip down was completely blunt, I don't mean unsharpened, I meant a visibly flat, blunt edge. I fixed it with an ~hour and a half and some whetstones, but at the price point and from a company I was told was reputable, this shouldn't be happening. I have one other knife in S45VN and it's a great steel, holds an edge for a very long time with minimal maintenance, but this also means it was fairly difficult to sharpen the blunt portion of the edge I received, so it goes both ways. Cosmetically I'm a fan of the design, the jimping is functional and well placed, the G10 grip insert provides good traction despite the thin profile of the knife, and the PVD FDE coating is smooth, consistent, and appealing, the included monkey-fist-ended lanyard loop is a nice touch. Hopefully if you choose this blade you'll receive a better example of Spartan's worksmanship than I did, because this -should- be a great knife under more ideal circumstances.

Good size
Interesting little knife. Would have been nice if it had passed a simple paper slice test right out of the box, but that's fixable with some time on the stones. Regardless, I did expect it to be sharp right out of the box, given the hype. Seems to be great materials. I'm a huge fan of S45VN steel.
