CQB tool
Absolutely the best enclosed self-defense weapon that I have come across I have been with the martial arts for 45 years and hold a 7th degree ranking. I would recommend this cqb tool to anyone

Excellent hold-out
I've been looking for a good knife that could be easily deployed with my weak hand and not be too cumbersome. This fits that role perfectly. I can carry it horizontally on my weak side, and draw with either hand easily. It's also got a training blade, making the system easy to work in to current practice/training scenarios.

The essential CQB tool.
I have heard for years that Spartan Blades are some of the best out there. And being an Army veteran, I had heard of this design. The tool is constructed perfectly, has great weight and sharpness. And fits perfectly to my rig as well as casual civilian clothes. I knew this was the perfect choice for me. And I have not been disappointed. I will be a returning customer for years to come.

CQB Tool
Outstanding, perfectly made and ready for use. Balanced perfectly and the sheath is top of the line. This is one of the top 3 knives I have ever owned. 2 of my top 3 are from Spartan Blades. Anything they make is the absolute best. This CQB Tool is no exception. If you are looking for your next EDC / load out / any out multi purpose and functioning blade then order this piece of art work.

A good shooters accessory
This knife is pretty vicious. Comes needle sharp at the end. PVD coating is excellent. The sheath is very tight initially and needs broken in. You really have to rip at it to get it out of the sheath. I bought this to go on my armor ... but after handling it a bit I kinda want to get another for EDC so I wont have to remove it constantly. At fist glance it seems very small ... but it fits in the hand quite well, is lightweight, and concealable. It doesnt get in the way of my grip of my two main weapons at all when held during firing (P226 and AR). Compliments the loadout nicely.

My first privileged ownership of a CQB tool.
I have just begun the journey of tools, and their ancestry. The Spartan CQB tool is light weight and slim. The sheath lashes consistently in cadence with my beltline. The synchronicity of tool and sheath operate fluidly. The sheath and tool have a very subtle locked, to unlocked operation allowing for stealth or explosive unsheathing. I have no weapons training. I am a gardener that enjoys a quality cut by a superior tool. Thank you for your dedicated hours to your skilled craft. Steven Thomas

CQB Tool
I bought this as a tool and it delivers! I opted for zip ties instead of the included paracord for my plate carrier and it lays flatter than anything. Super easy to deploy but will never accidentally slip out. I can grip it in any fashion. Perfect balance and weight. Truly well designed and executed.
The Spartan CQB tool is aptly named and specially designed for Close Quarters Battle. The CQB tool is a ring dagger with a kydex sheath. The sheath compliments the ring on the end the knife for quick removal. The sheath is designed to lash into MOLLE /PALS behind magazine or other front pouches on a vest or be carried on belt or inside the waist band. The design concept of the CQB tool originates with Greg Thompson, an instructor of close quarters fighting techniques (Hand To Hand) for the US Special Forces. Mr. Thompson is owner / founder of the H2H/Team ROC of the Fort Bragg based training group and developer of the Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP). Mr. Thompson developed the new combatives program for US Army Special Operations Forces and this CQB tool is part of program gear. The CQB Tool or "transition tool" is used to compliment this program by providing a slim easily stowed knife with rapid acquisition for, "get the heck off me", grappling situations encountered in a CQB fight. The ring and slim profile design allows for the operator to quickly pull and utilize the dagger; breaking an attackers grasp and allowing the soldier to transition back to his primary weapon system without re-sheathing until safe to do so."
