As someone who likes to carry a fixed blade everyday for practical and tactical uses, it doesn’t get any better than the Formido in my opinion. Besides SB being a great American company to support, this knife is so balanced and beautiful. The strength and size is fantastic for only 4oz. My XL hands fit the handle great, and don’t feel the need to wrap it with anything. I love the simplicity and will proudly have it on my side for years to come.

Spent months searching for my replacement blade, after sensing that my skill set had grown beyond what my Ikken could support. I found that Spartan Blades tends to design specific knives for specitic use brackets, and took the jump on a Formido. Steel is clearly outstanding, as is the DLC coating, but what blows my mind about this blade is the dedication to theory behind the blade. From the blade profile and length, to the overall size of the tool, this thing is utterly perfect for a do it all fighting knife. The thin profile makes the knife just able to be concealed, while the grip is the size needed for certain more advanced techniques. The blade is the perfect length for a carry blade, any less or more would be less than ideal. This blade is fantastic, and should be more common than it is.

I purchased this knife for every day carry/ self defense . Excellent quality. I was worried the knife would slip in my hand if wet, didn't budge . Thin doesn't print if carried inside the waistband. Sheath has excellent retention and yet can be quickly deployed. This is a solid purchase well worth the money.

Well thought out blade. Ergonomics fit just right in about a dozen positions and inspire confidence when handling. Barely noticeable in gym shorts iwb at 1 o’clock. Easy to carry all day long. The coating looks exceptional and feels great in hand wet and dry. Easy to clean no worries about rust getting underneath scales because of simple design. The balance feels like blade is heavy and moves with purpose. Does not feel like it will fly out of your hand slip twist or bite a finger off. Kydex sheath is nice, would be nicer with more holes or maybe design options like taco style. Overall very functional Impressive looking blade thats easy to carry , throw in backpack, or drive with.

Honestly I can not say enough amazing things about this blade. It’s beautiful crafted and wicked looking. On top of that the customer service I have recieved has been second to none. Fantastic blade, awesome company!! Thanks so much guys!

Great knife for everyday carry & self-defense. So far, best knife I have own. Will purchase more Spartan blades in the future.
