Horkos - Combat / Utility Knife

This is the very best overall do it all what ever you want to call it knife that I have . For context benchmade, spiderco, treeman, Winkler, survival arts. Just to list a few. This piece of gear will not let you down the people are great I’ve been to the location in southern pines a couple of time and they are always welcoming. The Spartan Horkos is one of my favorite knives. It’s only second to my Spartan Harsey Difensa. My Horkos was ordered with a black blade, black Micarta handle, and a black Kydex sheath. The design of the Horkos is excellent. It is well balanced, extremely sharp, and well crafted with no flaws. Be aware that the Kydex sheath will slightly scratch the blade’s black finish after several sheathing cycles. I knew this going into the Kydex sheath option, so it doesn’t bother me at all. The nylon sheath may be gentler, but the Horkos fits so well and tight in the Kydex sheath. That is something I like. It’s also easy to pull it out of its sheath. The sheaths retention is perfect. The knife’s handle is excellent. It fells comfortable in my medium sized hands. The thickness of the blade always grabs my attention. This is one rugged tool. The blade design is fantastic. It is so cool looking, and it makes a grand addition to my knife collection. The blade is extremely useable in every way. From batoning wood, cutting material, prying parts apart, and even digging, it is a great survival tool. As a former military veteran and law enforcement officer, the Horkos would serve you well in a self-defense situation. For the price, I believe it is well worth it. I highly recommend it. I ordered my Horkos directly from Spartan Blades because it was so difficult to find a seller online. The knife and box were packaged well and in excellent condition upon delivery. Spartan Blades rock!

Another outstanding knife by those who have carried them in war. Great balance and weight. The finish is second to none. A great defense knife should it ever be needed to be used for that purpose. Cannot go wrong feels great in the hand and comes from a truly outstanding company. As a former US Marine and LEO I appreciate Spartan blades There quality and finish are outstanding. PS I did not get paid to write this but did receive my money's worth in buying this model....

Exceptional build quality!

He really likes it. Says it's surprisingly light and fast yet made of super stainless. If he likes it, it must be good.

Exceptional build, fit and finish. My caution is to those with larger hands. It’s a bit smaller overall than I’d thought but the handle is tiny. In length, scale thickness, width. There’s not much real estate there to get a good grip on it for bigger paws. If it was a 6-6 maybe with thicker scales this knife would be a grail. We’ll see how she holds up. Very high product quality and service.

I'm impressed at the quality of this knife. Its solid, its beautiful and well crafted. the customer service I received was great as well. It shipped fast. Overall I am well pleased with my experience and the product and will definitely buy from them again.

This is a very well made blade, outstanding ergonomics, well made, high quality, however when I received it I couldn’t believe it wasn’t very sharp at all. I have had numerous Benchmade knives and ever one comes razor sharp from factory. I can’t believe Spartan sends out knives that need sharpening right from jump. Very disappointing.

Guys, Just wanted to say thanks for a great blade. This is my second Horkos, First one got lost in a trench, couldnt live without another! Thanks for making such great blades!!

When I got this knife in hand it just felt right. Every way I held the knife felt comfortable and strong. Finally a knife with jimping that actually works! I'll definitely be buying more products!
