I received my Spartan-George V-14 Dagger yesterday. This dagger truly pays homage to the original V-42 with all the improvements of the modern age. I have been purchasing knives from Spartan blades since sometime around 2009. I have purchased nine knives from them including this current purchase. I have high expectations for their products. I will say that they outdid themselves with this dagger. It is extremely well made, which was not a surprise. It has a superb combat edge straight out of the box, exceeding a standard issued factory dagger edge. I would put my life on this blade out of the box. The only issue I experienced was the retainer strap on the RMJ Tactical/Chattanooga leather sheath appeared to be short. That is the first conclusion you might reach before looking closer at the sheath. It is not an issue at all and easily rectified!...........The strap is not an incorrect length. The sheath had a minor assembly issue. The inner side of the retainer should be affixed on the top retainer screw not the second down as it was delivered. The retainer snap should remain on the second screw down from the top as delivered. If anybody does not understand my articulation, please reference the picture of the RMJ tactical/Chattanooga leather sheath for the Harsey Dagger. Looking at the lower black sheath in the picture, it is easier to see the proper configuration. It is a five minute or less fix. For those that may miss it, you can also reconfigure the strap for left hand or right-hand operation or for how it may be carried on your kit by reversing the assembly. I highly recommend this dagger for anybody looking for a fine dagger for their collection or to save their life in the worst of times. DOL Ep

Just holding the V-14 instills confidence in your survival skills. The craftsmanship in all aspects of the knife's assembly is best in its class.
