The 3 9/16-inch drop-point blade is crafted from proven 154CM stainless steel and heat treated to 57–59 HRC. Its full-flat grind delivers efficient slicing performance, while the substantial .142-inch blade stock provides added durability. This is my EDC of the day. 154CM steel is a good all around steel that doesn't break the bank. I have been carrying the Pallas button lock blade for awhile now. This Eleos blade is lighter with a slightly smaller blade. The scales are slightly wider than the Pallas but this is not as tall a blade as the Pallas so has a smaller profile. I like the deep pocket clip. I'm not sure what kind of finish is on the blade. I got the black blade with the black scales, but I don't know if this is a DLC coating or just a cerokote. I do recommend this knife. It is a good weight and size for all kinds of applications and the blade is affordable.
