Light, fast ,sharp, worth ever penny.
Absolutely loves it awesome company! Thank you so much!
The reason for 4 stars, the last blades I bought are outstanding, but the quality of the kydex sheaths are lacking! the last 3 blades , The Harsey dagger, Hybris, Sparten Ronnin Shinto, on thse three sheaths the kydex is flimsy, and do not hold the blade's secure. The Spaten George V-14 dagger sheath is of a different quality, it's thicker and sturdy. Why the change ?
Love it. Best modern take on the classic FS. Highly recommended.
Fit and Finnish is pure quality, well made and balanced in hand.
The Harsey dagger is nothing but perfection. I jjust received mine with a flat dark earth blade and I hardly know where to begin. The balance is beautiful and the proportions are completely efficient. In fact, it has more agility than the George dagger. I also really like the handle on the Harsey. It provides a great deal of stability in the hand and will probably go far to prevent yaw of the blade in a target. I have been studying daggers and dagger combat for a number of years now and this the nicest dagger I have ever handled. I have also been a loyal Spartan customer since 2012 and difficult as it is to fathom, they STILL keep exceeding expectations, constantly raising the bar on themselves. I will never go anywhere else for tactical cutlery. This dagger is WELL worth the investment. Hope this helps.
Great blade. Strong, balanced, sharp edge. Great for carrying on a belt or on molle gear. Worth the purchase.
First of all, thank you Spartan Blades for the invitation to review this knife which is the perfect combination of form, function, & beauty. One subject I would like to address right away, is that like many others I have heard from, I was torn between which dagger to get first, the Harsey Dagger, or the Les George V14 Dagger. Out of practicality for my needs, the Harsey Dagger made the most sense to get first. However, I cannot stress enough that one is not a substitute for the other. Because of this, I will absolutely be purchasing the Les George V14 as well, and I cannot imagine anyone who would ever come to regret purchasing both, as they are both must haves IMO. The Harsey Dagger came with sharp edges that were absolutely symmetrical all the way around, with a perfectly sharpened tip. I cannot recommend the Harsey Dagger strongly enough. The retention of the kydex sheath is absolutely spot on, not too tight , not too loose, and I carry it upside down on the right side of my chest using the Mercharness for easy access with my left hand, as I have my Spartan Blades Ares on my right side of my belt to access with my right hand, and this setup is absolutely perfect for my needs & preferences. I don't fancy myself a collector, but after coming across Spartan Blades Elite line of knives, I will be purchasing many more, and put them all to good use.
Unless you actually hold this in your hand you will never know what it is to experience a work of fine art made into a tool of supreme practically. OK so its a weapon - but only if you want it to be - otherwise it is so much more. It is a feast for the eyes, a tactile journey for your touch and a soft whisper to your senses. It reminds me of my wife when I first met her 34 years back....
