Tac Trout
I bought my Tac Trout at Blade back in 2018 and it instantly became my life or death blade, being carried on both my belt and plate carrier. When my son came of age he asked for one of his own, which my wife and I happily obliged. The Tactical Trout is robust, despite its small size, and sharpens like a razor. Its size allows me to wield it with confidence in any situation; it truly fits like a glove and yearns to cut.

Spartan Harsey Tactical Trout
An extremely well designed and built fixed blade knife. This blade will be a daily companion as well as a part of all my outdoor adventures. My first Spartan blade, but will not be my last.

William Harsey design is my favorite
First of all, I was stunned by the delivery time to Asia took only three days. My only other fixed blade is designed by William Harsey. This Tactical Trout is compact and light. The hand gripping is typical of Harsey design, very ergonomic. I love every dimension of this blade.

Tactical Trout
I have searched for many years this knife. The combination of beauty and balance in the Tactical Trout is amazing. I honor the craftsmanship.
Spartan Harsey TT – The Harsey TT (Tactical Trout) was designed to be a very comfortable and robust mid-sized knife for most field tasks and defensive use. The TT’s size makes it easy to carry and wield. The spear point profile has a flat ground main bevel with a tapered top grind. The blade profile provides for a clean cutting edge with excellent tip strength. The Harsey TT’s full tang and handle provide for neutral balance in the user’s hand. The contoured ergonomic linen Micarta handle provides for a comfortable confident grip when wet or dry. The pommel has a lanyard hole in the middle of its angled tip. A great all around fixed blade, the TT is well balanced in its size, function and feel. One of William Harsey's best designs in our opinion.
