This is a well balanced, small to medium fixed blade. This has taken the the spot for my home defense firearm back up. I have full confidence in this knife. I love the angles, and kydex sheath. Everything is top notch! Get one!

I received the knife about a week ago. Build quality is what you would expect from any Spartan Blades Elite level knife. This is my new EDC and hunting knife as the Kydex sheath fits well into my waistband and or pocket. What I really love is the low profile design doesn't grab as much attention as some other large fixed blade knives that I own.
This blade is a must. A little on the larger side for horizontal appendix carry but it's manageable. Had to order another 'Push the Button' strap for a more secure horizontal setup but the one that comes with it works decent.
Fabulous knife. Excellent quality. Small enough for EDC. Large enough for meaningful self defense. I’m biased. I have 8 Spartan Blades, all fixed. Spartan Blades are the best on the market hands down. Even the sheaths which are often overlooked by other manufacturers are top quality. In addition al the knives come razor sharp. I’m kinda anal regarding sharpness and I haven’t been able to improve them. I’ve even got a few custom blades, some quite pricey and Spartan either is sharper or the same. Plus the S35VN steel? Best blade steel I’ve ever seen in any category. Sharpness, durability, ease of resharpening, Thanks Spartan Blades!
I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this blade as I use it for a multitude of projects. It is light, durable the grip is very well made the sharpness of the blade has stayed through out. I did purchase a Blade-Tech OTB belt mount that has functioned perfectly with it.
Right out of the box I noticed how sharp it was and how light it feels in your hand. Another excellent knife from Spartan. I'm afraid I'm hooked and may never buy another brand of knife.

I bought this blade for protection and Utility purposes (most likely field dressing game). At this moment I do not carry a firearm and a video I saw TU do on Ronin Tactical's YouTube page helped me realize something, "If I am not carrying something to defend myself, then why not?". I did my research and figured the Phrike would fit well into my hand and be small enough not to disrupt my movement when I am carrying it. I have only had it for a couple weeks and carry it while I am working and travelling. The blade had a great out of the box edge, so no wet stone work was required. The grip is great and the tungsten finish on the blade looks great. Thank you for the great quality control!
