I have been dragging my feet on ... purchasing and accessing this knife. (I am a big Fan of Spartan Blades Modern Steel & Processing) I was hoping for this Knife design to come out in a Modern Stainless Steel. Don't get Me wrong, When I served in the Army as a Ranger/LRSD/LRSC this metal was the Bomb. This is starting to sound Negative and this is completely not my intention. 1095 CV is Incredibly durable and hold an edge and easy to sharpen with Modern Diamond Sharpeners. I was intending to use this knife for Hunting and Meat Processing both Game and Northern and Alaska Fish. But anything from Spartan Blades name on it, is second to none! Plus I picked up some Knife Wax. Fit and finish: This knife! I can't say enough About the Design and William Harsey, Spartan Blades and Ka-Bar Knives. Great Look, Feel and Balance. Each person is different when it comes to a Gaming/Meat Processing Knife. But I fell in Love with it! Even though I haven't fully used for all my intended intentions. I am really glad I bought this knife. I even use it on the grill Prep or Kitchen. The Knife actually deserves a better rating then Professional Grade Status. Compared to other knife makers and designers. But thats only my opinion. The Craftsmanship is awesome. Tight tolerances and great finish. Thank You all ... and God Bless
