Possibly a shade heavy/ inconsequential
Absolutely love the Shoto. The blade profile is great for a defensive knife. The scales are tactile and the ring adds additional grip security. Obviously, the Emerson wing is a huge bonus in rapid deployment. I also really like that you can switch the clip side, and that the clip has the blade face down and away from you instead of vertically toward you like many other folders. And, at this price point, it’s a steal - can’t recommend it enough.
Just received it and it handles very well with well defined thumb and grip points. It is a solid built foldable which will do me well far into the future.
This is truly an incredible weapon. Tu Lam did an excellent job in the design. Can be sharpened razor sharp. Beautiful and deadly. My absolute favorite!
I’m pleased I made the purchase & thankful it made it all the way to the UK. The knife is very well thought out, & put together to last. The Emerson opener works great & is pretty discrete. Wrote review before but had to say it again. Best EDC blade I have. Nothing deploys faster. The karambit design ring ensures a secure grip that wont slip. Hope this helps.
You couldn't ask for a better EDC blade. Fastest deploying knife I ever saw. Sharp blade and feels secure in the hand. Highly maneuverable. Well worth the investment.
This is a well designed tool by Tu Lam. Up grading the blade steel and scales would be my preference. But thanks just me. Practice Practice Practice!
Wow. This thing is very well thought out and very high quality. I highly suggest pulling it out often to soften up the open and close as it’s a little stiff at first. But it breaks in quickly. I highly recommend this product especially on your “weak side” to compliment drawing a pistol if needed.
Beautiful functional blade. Smooth deployment. The ring takes a bit to get used to since it sticks out of the pocket quite a bit, but that will come with time and experience carrying. 5 star customer service and quick shipping. Will absolutely buy from again!
