I love the knife. It is just the right weight and I know I will be able to perform just about any task I would need it for. My only reservation is the sheath. It is very sturdy and apparently durable, just a bit bulky for me. There is just too much too it. I am going to try to find a simpler sheath. Perhaps Spartan has one.
looking to future purchases
I never had a blade like this. I'm not used to the pronounced curve in the blade but it works. Definitely balances rearward and the micarta handle provides a very positive grip. Spartan did right in touting this as a fighting blade.
This is a different style of blade than I'm used to but I like it a lot. I've never owned such a curved blade before . As usual the workmanship is next level. It has a good balance and I like the weight and the handle. Get one.

I received the Torii this week and placed it through the paces. I have been in martial arts for several decades and have handled a lot of tactical oriented knives. This is one of the most natural feeling knives in the hand I have felt. Very fast in the hand and well balance. This is my fourteenth Spartan blade and this is like most of the products they make. Very well made and has an heirloom quality to it. Another home run for Spartan Blades.
